This weekend we stayed in the very centre of Helsinki. I really enjoyed going for long walks along the pretty streets of Eira and Ullanlinna. There are so many cute little boutiques, cafes and restaurants that I'd never noticed before.
We have a new buggy board. I find that so much handier than a double buggy that won't fit in anywhere!
Fur hats in Kauppatori, a market square in the heart of Helsinki. Wouldn't have needed them on this trip though. It's unusually warm in Finland still.
There are playgrounds absolutely everywhere in Helsinki. As soon as you leave one you see another one.
The one thing I had forgotten is that Finnish playgrounds are always built on sand... There is a reason everyone else's kids were dressed in weather and dirt proof all-in-ones! Especially Baby M looked rather posh for the surroundings and I received a couple of amused looks :-)
Next time a trip to a local children's clothes shop is in order! I must say though I absolutely love this hat and snood... Baby M received them as a gift.
An evening view from Eiranranta. In fact it was probably about 4pm! It gets dark so early.
One more set of swings before home.
