London, that is! Whilst Baby M and I had been abandoned by the rest of the family we decided to take a stroll around the West End to enjoy all the beautiful Christmas decorations and lights. Nothing gets you in a Christmas mood more. London has a very special atmosphere this time of the year. It looks sooo beautiful, everyone is in good spirits and shops and restaurants are even busier and buzzier than normally.
First... Oxford Street. The horrendously over crowded Oxford Street. Even that is beautiful with Christmas lights.
Upwards and onwards; the red brick building in the middle is the very glamorous Claridge's Hotel. Such a stunning, old school hotel. I love their bar for a pre-dinner drink or their restaurant for breakfast if you fancy treating yourself for a special one.
Bond Street. A shopper's heaven if you want to find all Designer brands on one street.
My little friend who is a child who loves sitting in her buggy for like, hours! I find that amazing. Little M hated it at this age. Not complaining, it's great for long walks!
And back home past all the department stores on Oxford Street. Soon I won't be able to just walk to the West End so I wanted to do a proper stroll around whilst it's still on my doorstep. Sure there will be plenty of Christmas atmosphere in Notting Hill too though!
