Hi everyone! Hope you had a lovely weekend! I have a nice, relaxed,
wet and grey London weekend behind me. London has a great offering of museums and art galleries (this is your website to check them out btw if you're planning a visit) but fall is a specifically arty time here with the hugely popular Frieze Art Fair taking place in Regent's Park. That's where I spent yesterday afternoon.
I know very little about art but I know what my eye likes; contemporary, glossy and colourful and Frieze is definitely the place for that.
This was my favourite piece of photography. Stunning!
I had a little friend with me.
I was trying to photograph her but it was a mission impossible to get her to stand still for a moment.
I love the work by a Polish Painter Marcin Maciejowski.
And this is what I looked like when we got home... It started absolutely pouring down with rain just as I was about to leave. Of course I didn't have an umbrella (because after 10 years in this country I still haven't learned to carry one with me, at all times, like one should and if I do I most likely loose it) so I tried to wait it out but it showed no signs of slowing down so all I could do was to brave it and get soaked like I never had before. Baby M was untouched in her buggy under a rain cover but I looked like I had jumped in a pool with my clothes on.
