Hello! I spent the weekend offline in this beautiful country house in the English county of Somerset. It was the loveliest place to celebrate a friend's 40th at. This was the room we stayed in. Isn't it beautiful? The whole house was stunning. Who wouldn't love old English country houses!
I thought it would be quite appropriate to wear a bit of tartan to a place like this :-)
This was the maximum amount of text that I'm able to produce tonight after all the fun :-) Good night everyone and see you tomorrow!
Minna x
How lovely! I've mentioned this about a million times but I absolutely adore English country houses, their gardens and the whole shebang. And the tartan was a great choice. Did you also wear a Barbour jacket and Wellingtons?! -Marjo-
ReplyDeleteYes me too! Although not sure I'd be ready to live in one... or maybe if it was in a middle of a city, ha. I was going to wear Hunters but never ended up leaving the house! Slept and got pampered instead :-)
DeleteIhana blogi! Kannustan ehdottomasti englanninkielisiä blogeja (kerro jos suosit englanninkielisiä kommentteja)! Sait juuri uuden lukijan!

Tämä blogi on mun ehdottomien suosikkien joukossa :).
ReplyDeleteIhana kuulla Heidi, kiitos kommentista!
DeleteSo lovely and full of character. The green colour works so well for an old house.
ReplyDeleteYes I love that green. Reminds me of one of my favourite London restaurants too, Cecconi's! :-)
DeleteHi Minna!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog :) Just one question: have you, by any chance, have your teeth whitened? If so, can I ask you where and with what technique? I live in London and am currently looking for a place to have mine done! x
Yes I have. I first whitened them years ago and I now refresh it once a year or so. I've been to various different dentists in London but now go to the most amazing guy called Jonathan at Thayer Street Dental in Marylebone. Never going to another dentist again! He specialises in cosmetic dentistry and is cheaper than most. I do the home whitening with moulds that a dentist makes for you. Have tried the laser too and I think the home one is much more effective.
