BLOG SALE LOUIS VUITTON POCHETTE RED

We are enjoying the early part of summer in Finland (hello winter coats!) and I'm in the middle of having a spring clean.

I'm thinking of selling quite a few things with plenty of life left with a new owner!

PUREOLOGY

I'm very lazy looking after my hair and my most common only treatment is wiping some left over coconut oil into my hair when I'm cooking.

I had a haircut in London not too long ago with my amazing hairdresser whom I've seen on a regular basis for the last 7 years or so and as my hair was dry like a hayfield he recommended this product: Pureology mask. Works wonders on a dry hair!

A little flashback to last March in Miami. I wanted to introduce my beautiful friend Alex to you, especially for the ones based in Miami. She is a fashion designer, stylist, hosts a TV-show on FOX, writes a blog Alex in Style and is a mother and a wife. You can also find her on Instagram.

SQUARE GARDEN

London is full of private square gardens. They tend to be rather small but then again you don't have too many people going in there either as the access is restricted to residents only.

My friend's square is an exception - it's a nice size garden with a playground for kids, tennis and plenty of space for dogs.

 

Kids love the little play ground.

By time I'm posting this we've already left London and we are settling in Paris. Wish me luck!

VINYLUX

I discovered Vinylux nail polish in Miami this winter - it's a weekly polish that you can remove by yourself and doesn't require soaking in acetone or breaking the surface before. It lasts about a week nice and shiny without chipping and even longer on your toes.  

I was very happy to find it here in London as well. I love red nails on me but they normally last only about a day. I'm not good at maintaining anything (hair, nails etc.) and I hate the idea of not being able to remove the polish by myself, so Vinylux is clearly the product for me.

LONDON LIFE

Sorry for the silence from my end- we are back to London for few weeks and it's been crazy busy plus I have no wifi at home. Our social calendar is pretty booked up as we are trying to see as much friends as possible and I want to squeeze in my yoga and all sorts of other things as well.

London is so pretty in spring.    

I miss my old life and neighbourhood!

HEIDI IN MY KITCHEN

We had some special guests over for a playdate yesterday. Heidi and her two children came to have a play and got asked to cook us all lunch! ;-)

I had some cod reserved for the kids and instead of having it plain grilled like my children normally do Heidi made a healthy sauce to cook it in containing tomatoes, spinach, fresh basil and garlic.

Looks yummy, heh!

A tiny bit of chilli flakes, black pepper and Himalayan salt.

And then the fish in to cook.

Lid on until ready.

Whilst waiting for the lunch our tiny garden saw some action.

Heidi and her children didn't only come to cook us lunch, they also helped with cleaning! They're definitely welcome anytime!

As starters we had some crudites with my absolute favourite houmous from Waitrose. I've tried so many and this is the winner by far!

Hmmm... wonder if it's any good. Yes it was, they all loved it. The fish was served with some brown spaghetti.

Little M shed a few tears after her lunch. It was because her mean mum (who had clearly put bronzer on in the dark that morning) suggested a kids cinema for the afternoon. Apparently she only wants to go to cinema with daddy so the suggestion was rather upsetting... well I'll know next time! ;-)

Heidi and I both have a soon to be 2-year old and a soon to be 4-year old. How we met was totally randomly at a London playground two years ago. We both had a newborn in the buggy and a 2-year old running around. Heidi heard me speak in Finnish to my children and came to introduce herself. She then left for Miami about a year ago but is currently staying in London. It's nice to be in the same place again for at least a little while! I'm sure we can fit in a couple of more playdates before we head off to different directions again.
