Here's a list of my spice cabinet essentials:
- himalayan salt
- black pepper
- chili flakes
- paprika
- turmeric powder
- cinnamon
- Herbes de Provence or equivalent dried herb mix
- sumac
- zaatar (both sumac and zaatar you can find in Middle-Eastern food shops)
- nutritional yeast
- oils: olive, coconut, avocado, grape seed, sesame
- apple cider vinegar
- Bragg's liquid aminos or soy sauce
- Dijon mustard
These are my basics that I use all the time for cooking, baking, making sauces, dressings etc.

Very similar to my own spice cabinet but very clearly a different country (I'm in Australia). The only thing I recognise is the maille mustard!

ReplyDeleteThanks ;-) Himalayan salt is said to be purer containing lots of minerals. I also like Maldon sea salt.
